Abstract

Divided into two parts, this essay intends to make, in the first one, the state of the art of Portuguese Neobarroque Sculpture, through the bibliographic investigation already carried out. The second part is dedicated to the analysis of works of art and sculptors identified as belonging to this sculptural production, situated between the French eighteenth-century academic tradition and modern twentieth-century synthesis.
