Abstract

This paper aims to further develop the proposal I have been working on in previous research: the use of the term "Contemporary Urban Creativity" as an overarching category for heterogeneous practices of creation, intervention, and engagement with the public sphere. On this occasion, I intend to begin mapping a specific type of practice related to the categories of graphic design, activism, and politics. In particular, I will examine how the local academic field is constructing meaning around these practices through various approaches and proposals for their conceptualization.
